Car finance specialists We Finance Any Car can today confirm that it will continue to back rising star Tom Lebbon for a third successive season after extending its partnership into 2023.
We Finance Any Car first backed Tom back in 2021 when he took his first steps into single-seater racing in the GB3 Championship, having previously tasted title success in the Ginetta Junior Championship.
A two-year stint in the series saw the Bury St Edmunds-based teenager secure multiple podium finishes, with four wins last year helping him to snare third in the championship standings.
Keen to progress to the international stage, Tom takes on a fresh challenge this year having agreed a deal to join Arden Motorsport – the team founded in the late 1990s by current Red Bull F1 boss Christian Horner – for an assault on the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine.
A busy pre-season testing programme has seen Tom on track at Catalunya, Paul Ricard and Monza in recent weeks, with his first race meeting taking place this weekend at the famous Imola circuit in Italy.
The ten-round schedule – which runs through to late October – will also see Tom compete at the likes of the Hungaroring, Red Bull Ring and Zandvoort.
